Friend,
Last month, we launched our new virtual speaker series, "Our Collective Power." The first discussion was a hit, and I'm happy to announce we'll be hosting our second event TODAY at 7 p.m. ET.
Our next topic: Uplifting Black Women Who Lead and Serve. You won't want to miss this, friend — join us for a conversation this evening!
Tonight, I'll be joined by actress and advocate Tracee Ellis Ross who will moderate an actionable conversation with TX-24 Congressional candidate Candace Valenzuela. Candace will be on the ballot Tuesday, July 14, in Texas's primary runoff and if elected in November, will become the first-ever Black Latina to serve in Congress.
Together, we'll be discussing the many ways Black women lead and serve in the community as well as Candace's plans to make history this November. I was in awe of everyone who showed up to last month's event, so let's keep up the momentum.
Join us for a conversation tonight at 7 p.m. ET...and please RSVP so we know you'll be there!
