Dear John,
Are you expecting your health care premiums to increase next year?
Republicans have shut down the government because Democrats want to extend Affordable Care Act premiums to keep health care affordable for millions of people. If these tax credits expire, the cost of health insurance is going to skyrocket and make insurance premiums—which are already out of reach for too many—even more unaffordable. According to a report from the House Budget Committee Democrats, here in the Inland Empire, more than 25,000 people covered under the Affordable Care Act will see their premiums go up by an average of $2,160 every year.
If you’re going to be impacted, I want to hear from you. Click here to share your story.
This crisis can’t wait. Californians have already started receiving notices that their health care premiums are going up next year. I want to hear from you about your rising health care costs and what you and your family are experiencing.

If you answered YES, I want to hear from you. Please consider sharing your story with my office by filling out the form linked here.
My office remains open and working for you during the government shutdown. Democrats in Congress will continue fighting back against these reckless cuts to the Affordable Care Act, and I promise to keep working to protect health care for people here in the Inland Empire.
Thanks,

Pete Aguilar
Member of Congress
