John,

I'm reaching out with a campaign update. The Board of Elections officially started counting the mail-in ballots on Wednesday. I've been at the BOE every day this week to witness the count. We've also had staffers taking shifts at offices in NYC and Brooklyn to witness the count.

I'm reaching out because we could use your help keeping shifts staffed during this vote count. Can you chip in $10 right now? [[link removed]]

One thing we know is this process is going to take a long time - weeks, maybe months. It is important that we have someone present at every shift because it is likely this race will come down to a slim margin.

Our district, NY-10 had one of the highest absentee returns. To put it into perspective, about 30K people voted in person on election day, over 50K mailed in absentee ballots.

The demographics will vary between mail and in-person voting. We have every reason to believe we will close the margin with Rep. Nadler through mail-in ballots and ultimately declare victory.

Please help us staff observers for every day as long as this count lasts. [[link removed]]

This will be a long process. As impatient as we are for the final result, we feel good that when all is said and done, we will win.

We'll keep you posted as we learn more in the coming days.

My best,
Lindsey
