Trump is aggressively testing out his authoritarian agenda right before our very eyes.
Last week, he demolished part of the White House, bragged about demanding hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers, and continued his reckless campaign of blowing up boats in foreign waters — acts international law experts are calling flat-out illegal.
And now, aboard Air Force One somewhere between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo, Trump said it himself: “I would love to do it.” |

He’s talking about a third term.
Trump is openly floating the idea of running again — even though the Constitution clearly forbids it. The 22nd Amendment limits presidents to two terms, but Trump doesn’t care. He’s spent years testing the boundaries of our democracy, and now he’s preparing to erase them entirely.
This is how autocrats consolidate power — one “joke” at a time.
Trump’s allies are already echoing his rhetoric. MAGA media figures are talking up a “plan” for him to run again. His desk is littered with Trump 2028 hats. And some Republicans are falling in line, ready to hand him unchecked control.
We can’t let this happen. Not again. Not ever.
