xxxxxx, I wasn’t born into power - I fought my way into it.

Basketball gave me my shot: a scholarship to the College of Charleston, where I became team captain, then played professionally both in the states and overseas. But when I came back home and saw my community struggling, I didn’t wait for someone else to fix it. I earned my doctorate, founded a nonprofit to help people get jobs, and ran for State Legislature - defeating a 22-year incumbent because folks were ready for change.

People told me I was too young for the State House - too loud, too direct, too black. I proved them wrong then - and I intend to do it again. I’m ready to take the fight to the Governor’s Mansion, and I’m hoping folks like you will stand with me.

As a deacon, husband, father, and gun violence survivor, I believe leadership starts with listening. I believe in responsible gun ownership. And I’ll work with anyone - Republican or Democrat -who’s ready to fix our crumbling roads, strengthen mental healthcare, and put more money in people’s pockets.
We’ve seen what happens when politicians like Nancy Mace make headlines instead of progress. She’s in Washington chasing cameras, driving up prices, and cutting healthcare for people who need it most - all while ignoring the real challenges facing South Carolinians.

I’m not running to get attention. I’m running to get things done.
South Carolina deserves a governor who will walk across the aisle, grab folks by the hand, and bring them back to the middle so we can actually get things done. That’s who I am, and that’s what I’m ready to do for the people of my state.

This campaign is about faith, family, and the future we can build together -  a new beginning and a brighter day for South Carolina. The fight ahead won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. Join me - become a Founding Member of my campaign by chipping in a donation right away.

Let’s get it done.
