John:
School closures have serious consequences for the mental health, development and educational growth of our children.
Remote learning is simply not the same.
It's why the American Academy of Pediatrics has said, “all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school.”
And sadly, school closures are especially harmful to the most vulnerable students. Closures prevent educators from being able address learning deficits, physical and substance abuse, depression, and suicide.
We need schools to reopen, but powerful teachers' unions are standing in the way.
The nation's two biggest teachers unions say they would consider strikes or major protests if schools reopen in the fall. For them, this crisis is an opportunity to gain even more power.
This can't stand. It's time to let our children learn again.
We need leaders in Washington who will fight the teacher unions and look out for the best interest of our kids.
This is one of the many reasons why we are supporting a number of strong conservatives for the U.S. Senate this year.
If you agree and want to help fight for our children's future, please support these candidates today.
✅ Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT)
✅ Sen. David Perdue (R-GA)
✅ Cynthia Lummis (R-WY)
✅ John James (R-MI)
✅ Gen. Don Bolduc (R-NH)
Your support will help them drive a positive message about the need to reopen America and allow kids to return to school.
Thank you for considering this request and for doing so much to help fight for our country's future.
Sincerely,

Mary Vought
