Helping kids enjoy Halloween.
-----------------------------

Friend,

Halloween should be fun, not frustrating. But between candy,
parties, and disrupted routines, it can be a tricky time for
children with diabetes. With a little creativity and preparation,
the holiday can still be full of fun.

The American Diabetes Association® has compiled practical tips
and tricks to help kids feel included while staying on track with
their health. From swapping candy for festive alternatives to
emphasizing creative costumes and games, there are plenty of ways
to enjoy the celebration without added stress. And when candy is
part of the fun, ideas like sorting treats ahead of time and
incorporating small portions into regular meal planning can help
keep things balanced.
