The American Dream isn’t just a slogan — it’s the promise that if you work hard, play by the rules, and contribute to your community, you can own a piece of this country, build a future, and pass something down to your children.
But today, that promise is slipping away.
Homeownership is out of reach for too many young families. Foreign entities and outside investors are buying up our neighborhoods. Inflation is eating away at savings. And many of our seniors are being priced out of the homes they worked their entire lives to keep.
We need more than speeches — we need a real plan to bring the American Dream back.
***************************
Here’s my five step plan:
***************************
1. Stop Foreign and Institutional Investors from Taking American Homes
Hardworking Americans shouldn’t have to compete with overseas buyers or large investment groups when trying to buy a home. Nearly one in four homes purchased this year went to investors — not families.
✅ My plan will:
* Limit bulk home purchases by foreign and institutional investors.
*
Give first-time homebuyers and veterans priority in the market.
* Support legislation to keep neighborhoods in the hands of American families.
2. Build Homes People Can Actually Afford
The average home today is more than twice the size of the homes that built America’s middle class. Bigger homes mean higher prices. We need more starter homes again.
✅ My plan will:
* Incentivize builders to construct smaller, entry-level homes.
*
Streamline permitting and cut red tape that drives up costs.
* Expand local partnerships to bring affordable housing within reach for working families.
3. Fix the Broken System That Created This Crisis
Years of bad monetary policy and a predatory student loan system have made it harder than ever to buy a home. High prices, high interest rates, and student debt are crushing the next generation.
✅ My plan will:
* Push for responsible monetary and lending reforms that stabilize the housing market.
* Tackle student debt so young families can build savings and invest in their futures.
* Support smart policies that bring down inflation and lower housing costs.
4. Protect Property Rights and Generational Wealth
Homeownership is about more than shelter — it’s about independence. It’s about the freedom to build something and pass it down to your children.
✅ My plan will:
* Defend property rights and fight back against efforts to weaken homeownership.
* Oppose tax increases and regulatory burdens that make it harder to keep your home.
* Ensure families can build and preserve generational wealth.
5. Empower Americans with Real Financial Tools
Restoring the American Dream means equipping people with the knowledge and tools to achieve it.
✅ My plan will:
* Expand financial literacy programs to help families save and invest wisely.
*
Strengthen first-time homebuyer assistance programs.
* Partner with local organizations to help families navigate the path to ownership.
Protecting Our Seniors
The American Dream also belongs to those who built it. Too many seniors are struggling with rising property taxes, healthcare costs, and inflation.
✅ My plan will:
* Protect seniors from being taxed out of their homes.
* Support property-tax relief for those on fixed incomes.
* Ensure access to affordable healthcare, housing, and financial security.
This isn’t just talk. These are actionable, common-sense solutions that put families and seniors ahead of bureaucrats, Wall Street, and foreign investors.
The American Dream belongs to all of us — and I intend to fight to make sure it stays that way.
