Friend,
When I sent my last message warning that Concord liberals were testing the waters for an income tax, some people said, “They’ll never actually try it.”
Well, here’s the truth — they already are.
Andru Volinsky and others are calling it “the thinkable.” They’re trying to soften the ground, hoping Granite Staters will give up and accept an income tax as inevitable.
Not on my watch.
New Hampshire’s economy works because we keep government lean and trust people to spend their own money. That’s what makes us different from every other state in New England — and it’s exactly what the left wants to destroy.
If they succeed, every paycheck in New Hampshire gets smaller — and every excuse for new taxes gets bigger.
We can’t let them win the message war or the policy fight.
We’re building the firewall that protects New Hampshire’s future — town by town, voter by voter.
Best,
Rep. Joe Sweeney
