All the pro-abortion laws in New Mexico can't stop the state's abortion numbers from dropping.

So pro-abortion activists in the state ripped off our logo. The Daily Wire recently covered our response--including a potential lawsuit:

Meanwhile, an abortion facility in Vallejo, California, is trying to reverse declining business by calling in reinforcements.

40 Days for Life participants learned that their presence is impacting business, leading the abortion center to add security.

But why would extra security boost business when 40 Days for Life vigils are peaceful and law-abiding?

"I think that discouraging leafleting is the main purpose of the security presence," explained Emma with the local campaign team.

But Emma isn't intimidated. She and her team hand out pregnancy help resource information to abortion-bound women lawfully.

"I am pretty effective getting resource sheets into the hands of every patient who will take them," she said. "I just say, 'Hi, this is for you!' and they usually come toward me...and take it." 

Long Island City, New York

The abortion facility in Long Island City responded to the city's first-ever 40 Days for Life campaign not with security, but with escorts.

Those escorts didn't interact with each other. Instead, they spent their shift listening to vigil participants pray.

"This scenario illustrates the fundamental principle of the 40 Days for Life campaign: bearing witness," Michael said. "Through divine intervention, it is possible that an escort may be inspired by the prayer warriors' serene and compassionate example."

Certainly a Planned Parenthood client was inspired by their witness. A woman leaving Planned Parenthood stopped to talk with a prayer warrior for 20 minutes.

The client didn't know Planned Parenthood did abortions--but once she found out, she indicated that she would not return to the facility.

Fort Collins, Colorado

This is a new one. Female abortion advocates in Fort Collins tried to discourage vigil participation by protesting the vigil topless, which is legal in the city. (Perhaps no campaign is happier to welcome chilly weather than the Fort Collins campaign!)

Kristy and her team haven't backed down. A handful of volunteers have been covering a tremendous number of vigil hours to make sure the chain of prayer remains unbroken.

The Fort Collins team has also established teen and family hours when the protesters have not been present.

Thousand Oaks, California

Leonore's campaign team in Southern California endured a flash flood warning and 50 mph wind gusts.

Their presence in the ugly weather made an impression on the community--and on one Planned Parenthood client in particular.

"After observing me in the rain for a couple hours, she said she'd called her mom to tell her we must really believe in what we're doing," Leonore recounted. "Her mom had three abortions, and the woman had at least one. She was waiting for a friend who was there for complications from abortion."

The woman's mother encouraged her to talk with Leonore--which made it possible for Leonore to share post-abortion healing information.
