Justice Democrats

John,

Another day, another article talking about how toxic AIPAC has finally become in the Democratic Party:

'Suddenly, Democratic politicians are running away from AIPAC. A long-overdue reckoning on Democrats and Israel is finally happening. Even centrists see which way the wind is blowing.

The New Republic just issued a new piece highlighting the fact that many establishment Democratic politicians are now avoiding any connection to AIPAC, in light of our movement’s work exposing them increasingly causing public opinion to sour on the anti-Palestinian lobby group and its influence on Congress.

From Rep. Seth Moulton returning his campaign contributions from AIPAC donors, to California Governor Gavin Newsom responding uncomfortably to a question about AIPAC’s influence on a recent podcast, mainstream Democrats are finally realizing that this Trump megadonor-funded pro-genocide lobby is utterly toxic.

While this is “a long-overdue reckoning” (Justice Democrats has been organizing, waging primary fights against AIPAC shills, and calling for the Party to formally reject AIPAC for years), we know AIPAC isn’t just going to give up.

Instead, we’ll likely see them funnel more and more money into political campaigns through their lesser-known affiliates, like their super PAC, the United Democracy Project (UDP) or their closely aligned PAC, Democratic Majority for Israel, or even completely separate PACs, like 314 PAC, which said its focus was electing STEM-educated Dems…but was used by AIPAC as a vehicle to spend millions in a Democratic primary for their candidate. Plus, AIPAC already instructs its members to donate individually to candidates who are running against more progressive, pro-peace Democrats, bundling millions for candidates like Wesley Bell in St. Louis.

In 2024, AIPAC was the single largest source of Republican donations in Democratic primaries, John, and we know they’ll spend and do whatever it takes to maintain their control on our elections and Congress in 2026.

Justice Democrats has and always will be an anti-AIPAC organization and we’re dedicated to electing candidates who are too.

Help our working-class, progressive primary candidates take them on and win next year: fuel our fight to kick AIPAC out of the Democratic Party with a contribution of $5 or more before our October 31st deadline!
