John, we are 26 days into the government shutdown, and the House has not voted since September 19 because Republican Speaker Mike Johnson won’t do his job.

What’s holding them back from coming to the table to save healthcare? They’re waiting for their wannabe King, Trump, to give them permission.

Meanwhile, Trump is too busy designing his dream ballroom to be bothered to notice that healthcare premiums are about to skyrocket – in many cases double in price – for millions of Americans.

We are facing the largest jump in healthcare prices since the ACA was implemented in 2014, which means some people are going to have to choose between paying their rent or mortgage, putting food on the table, and paying for healthcare – and Republicans couldn't care less.

Democrats are fighting to reopen the government, lower costs, and save healthcare. But the GOP is MIA in all negotiations. It’s unacceptable.
