Ashley Hinson is a former news reporter who has been serving as the Iowa State Representative for the 67th district since 2017. Now, she is running for Congress in Iowa’s 1st district.

Here are a few reasons why Hinson is supported by the RJC PAC: 



- She is one of the GOP's top recruits in a northeastern Iowa district that Democrats flipped from red to blue in 2018.

- She supported a state bill similar to President Trump's December Executive Order on Combating Anti-Semitism.

- She has vowed to fight anti-Semitism in Congress.



By contrast, the incumbent she is challenging, Representative Abby Finkenauer, is a proud J Street supporter who almost always votes in line with AOC's "Squad."
