John,
Jeffrey Yass isn’t a household name — yet. But he should be.
He spent over $46 million last year to prop up right-wing candidates across the country.1 He bankrolls efforts to defund public schools, crush unions, and silence progressives. He even came close to joining Trump’s Cabinet as Treasury Secretary.
And now, he’s zeroing in on Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court. Because if Yass and Trump’s billionaire allies can tilt this court, they can clear the path for partisan redistricting, voter suppression, and election interference in the country’s biggest swing state — and set a dangerous example for others to follow.
That’s why the Working Families Party is going all in. Our organizers are leading a massive grassroots campaign across 10 counties — partnering with more than a dozen local organizations to reach voters directly. We’re phonebanking, knocking on doors, running anti-billionaire ads, and making sure voters know the truth before they head to the polls.
Will you rush a donation today to help us phonebank, knock on doors, and run ads that cut through billionaire disinformation before voters cast their ballots? Every dollar helps ensure working people — not billionaires — decide the future of our courts.

First, it was Elon Musk — dropping $14 million to try to buy Wisconsin’s Supreme Court seat for a MAGA extremist earlier this year.2
Now, it’s Jeffrey Yass, Donald Trump’s (second) favorite billionaire, turning his sights — and his millions — on Pennsylvania, the biggest swing state in the country. Yass is trying to flip the PA Supreme Court that has overturned rigged maps, protected fair elections, and stopped Republicans from using the courts to steal power.
His playbook is the same one Musk tried in Wisconsin: flood the airwaves with lies, spread confusion, and trick working people into voting against their own interests. In Pennsylvania, Yass-funded groups are even sending out fake “Democratic” mailers to mislead voters about who’s really fighting for them.3
But this fight isn’t just about one state. It’s about whether billionaires like Yass and Musk get to decide our future — or whether we the people still do.
With Election Day on November 4th and early voting already underway, this race could determine whether the court continues to stand up for working people — or becomes another weapon for the billionaire class. If we don’t fight back, Yass’s money could tilt the court toward extreme rulings that gut public schools, block voters, and strip away protections for families and working people.
We can’t let that happen. Chip in now to help Working Families Party organizers stop billionaire control of our courts — in Pennsylvania and across the country. Every dollar helps us reach voters directly — cutting through billionaire disinformation with real conversations and real organizing.

Because here’s the truth: if billionaires can buy Pennsylvania’s courts, they can buy any state’s. But if we stop them, we’ll prove again that people power beats big money.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
