New EarthKeepers to be Commissioned
Seventy-two new EarthKeepers will be commissioned Nov. 4 during an online service. The Global Ministries EarthKeepers program equips United Methodists in the United States for environmental stewardship. Participants discuss theology, United Methodist resources, community organizing and antiracism, and then use what they learn to develop an environmental project for their churches and communities. Lindsay Ready, staff accountant for the Missouri Conference, is one of the people to be commissioned.

Scammers are increasingly sending emails that appear to come from pastors, church leaders, or familiar contacts—often asking for gift cards, money, or personal information. These sometimes appear to come from Conference staff or Bishop Farr. These requests are always fraudulent. Verify any unexpected requests by calling or speaking directly with the person before responding. Never share financial details by email.
