Jack Ciattarelli Can Win - But Only If Bergen Republicans Show Up!

Don’t Sit This Out. Jack Ciattarelli’s Victory Depends on Bergen

New Jersey Friends and Neighbors,

For 13 years, we’ve faced the same grim headline: 37 county races, 37 losses. Democrats haven’t just outspent us - they’ve out-organized us, out-registered us, and outvoted us again and again.

Right now, Bergen County Democrats have 44,000 voters registered to Vote By Mail. Republicans? Only 16,000. Returned ballots are also coming in at the same lopsided clip: 24,000 for Democrats, to just 8,100 for Republicans - a near 3:1 margin! These numbers are nearly unchanged from four years ago, with no counter-plan in sight.

Why hasn’t anything changed? Let’s call it what it is: failure at the top. BCRO ā€œleadershipā€ under new Chairman Jack DeLorenzo and longtime insiders like Margaret Frontera has done little except manage the decline. Additionally, with Tommy Toscano Jr. - our recently named BCRO finance co-chair, the Organization's ā€œliteral fortunesā€ haven’t budged either. Democrats are sitting on $1.2 million while Republicans are holding only $40,000. Republicans have less reach, fewer resources, and almost no digital presence whatsoever. An email list of barely 1,000 out of 170,000 registered Republicans in this county is a reach of less than 1%! Talk about asleep at the switch!

If you’ve been hoping someone at the BCRO would finally have figured out to how turn this around, look at the scoreboard. Jack DeLorenzo’s leadership has giving us what it always has: more losses, little hope, and no plan.

But—this year, we have a great reason not to give up: Jack Ciattarelli.

This isn’t just another election, and Jack isn’t just another candidate. Jack Ciattarelli is hands-down the best gubernatorial candidate New Jersey Republicans have seen in a generation: credible, tough, smart, able to speak to regular voters and win statewide. For the first time in years, GOP hopes at the top of the ticket are real. Jack has a far better chance of winning a statewide race than we do of flipping even a single County or Legislative seat - BUT ONLY IF WE COME OUT AND VOTE!

Here’s the math: If Bergen Republicans don’t show up—especially those who usually sit out non-presidential years, then Jack’s path narrows. But if we do step up, get our VBM ballots in, and reach out to every voter we know, not only is Jack’s race winnable, but Bergen can finally make a difference again.... Even if we don't win a County seat!!

Jack Ciattarelli is the chance we can’t afford to waste. He’s not part of the failed old guard. He’s got a real plan and a real shot. Jack needs Bergen and Bergen needs Jack. But they both need you!

Don’t let another election slip through our fingers because of the same old excuses. Don’t look to Bergen’s failed leadership for direction or guidance. Don’t count on DeLorenzo, Frontera, Toscano, or the empty pleas of Senator Schepisi, for direction.

Vote early and return your VBM ballot today! Bring a friend, call a neighbor, and nudge your family members. Let’s prove Bergen still matters, and that this party and this state have a future worth fighting for.

Don’t let this moment pass. Make your vote count; for Jack, for Bergen and for all of us.

Thank you for your time,
