➤➤ BREAKING: Trump’s team, DHS Sec. Noem drafts plan to dismantle election security

We’ve been warning about this for months, John: The Trump administration is quietly dismantling CISA – the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency – and replacing it with loyalists who will do their bidding.

Now, it’s happening.

A leaked draft strategy from Kristi Noem’s office revealed a dangerous plan to sideline CISA and hand control of election-related cybersecurity to political agencies like ICE and DHS.

CISA is the agency that helped protect the 2020 election and debunked Trump’s lies about widespread fraud. That’s why it’s in the crosshairs.

This plan would gut nonpartisan election protections and replace them with a politicized system designed to help Trump and his allies cling to power – no matter what the voters say.

And unless we act now, they’ll get away with it.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Democratic Secretaries of State are our firewall against federal overreach. While Trump’s DOJ and DHS rewrite the rules, it’s state officials who safeguard voter rolls, oversee election infrastructure, and stand up to unlawful interference.
