A shady MAGA group called “Swamp the Vote USA” has emerged late in the game encouraging GOP voters to “swamp” the upcoming Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention election to make sure their vote is “TOO BIG TO RIG.”

MAGA dark money PACs have already set their sights on Pennsylvania’s critical judicial race with an ominous-sounding initiative called Project Doorstrike. 

But Swamp the Vote is a troubling new development in a race with national implications and only 8 days left for Democrats to turn out our voters.

Independent and right-leaning voters are being targeted with misleading messages implying that Democrats will “rig” the vote unless they turn out and vote No on retention:

This election holds three times as much risk and danger for our democracy as any other election: the court’s 5-2 liberal majority hangs in the balance, as three Democratic justices are up for retention or defeat on the same ballot on November 4. 

This situation is unprecedented: only one justice has ever lost a race for retention. But now, with MAGA zeroing in on this race as an opportunity to set the stage for Trump to run again in the 2028 presidential election, polls are showing a tossup and MAGA is within striking distance.
