Dear Fellow Patriot,
I’m writing to you today to ask for your help to undo a horrible injustice perpetrated on four innocent police officers by President Obama and his administration.
Their names are Jason Zullo, John Miller, David Cari, and Dennis Spaulding.
They’re known as the “East Haven Four.”
As you’ll see in the enclosed report, all four men were highly respected, highly decorated police officers.
And your petition to President Trump is their only hope of clearing their names and ending the decade-long nightmare they – and their families – have been trapped in.
Let me explain.
Before they became the target of a political witch hunt, Officers Zullo, Miller, Cari, and Spaulding were police officers in East Haven, Connecticut. For generations, the town had been a small, close-knit community where everyone knows their neighbors – the perfect safe place to raise a family.
But after Obama was elected and he threw open our borders, illegal immigrants from Ecuador started flooding into East Haven.
And as the town rapidly changed...
...the four officers discovered something huge:
Thousands of these illegal immigrants were using fraudulent documents to obtain license plates, fake car insurance cards, and even fake driver’s licenses.
The East Haven Four went to work, making hundreds of arrests. Every single person arrested for their involvement in this crime ring was an illegal immigrant – including dozens of suspects with rap sheets a mile long.
Then Obama’s Department of Justice showed up.
Instead of thanking these four officers for their hard work in breaking up this crime ring and getting dangerous criminals off the streets...
...the Obama DOJ accused them of racism and launched a politicized witch hunt, charging all four men with federal felonies for doing their jobs. Not only that – they launched a vicious smear campaign in the media, painting the officers as hateful monsters, just for doing their jobs.
They even flew deported illegal immigrants back into the country to testify against the officers.
My friend, this wasn’t just blatant lawfare...
It was a message from Obama and his DOJ cronies to every other police department in the country:
“Give illegal immigrants special treatment, or you’re next.”
Because of Obama’s DOJ, all four officers went to prison.
And even though the men are now all free, it’s been nearly impossible for them to rebuild their lives or provide for their families.
Dave Cari was homeless for four months after he was released and wound up working at Home Depot for minimum wage.
After months of unemployment, Jason Zullo was offered a job working as a janitor. But right before his first day, he got a letter withdrawing the job offer – with a copy of one of the news articles calling him a racist attached.
And all these years later, the unjust felony convictions still make life difficult.
They can’t coach their kids’ hockey or softball teams because they can’t pass a background check...
They can’t travel with their families out of the country...
And they’ll live every day knowing they’ll never get the time back they lost with their wives and kids – the missed wedding anniversaries, graduations, t-ball games, and babies’ first steps.
My friend, you and I can’t help these four men recover that lost time.
...but we can help them clear their names and get the justice they deserve.
