But Swamp the Vote is a troubling new development in a race with national implications, and only 8 days are left for Democrats to turn out our voters. MAGA is fixated on throwing out three liberal justices on the state’s high court on November 4 and is rage-baiting right-leaning voters with messages like this. This election holds three times as much risk and danger for our democracy as any other election: the court’s 5-2 liberal majority hangs in the balance, as three Democratic justices are up for retention or defeat on the same ballot on November 4. This situation is unprecedented: only one justice has ever lost a race for retention.
