Trump regime posts notice that NO federal food aid will go out Nov. 1

For the record, there's enough money for a massive multi-billion-dollar bailout for Donald's buddy in Argentina; ICE's unconscionable war on humanity; Kristi Noem's luxury private jets; a cool billion for renovations for Trump's Qatari plane; Donald's every-goddamn-weekend golf outings; and countless other expenditures that benefit the billionaire class, but nothing left in the well for tens of millions of food-insecure Americans. The cruelty IS the point.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Democratic senator floats hilarious solution to ballroom fiasco

While the vainglorious nincompoop-in-chief might be getting his ridiculous new ballroom at the White House, Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego just floated an absolutely brilliant idea for how his party should respond if and when a Democratic president returns to power: simply rename the space after former President Barack Obama.

Republicans drop dark money bomb on CRITICAL state Supreme Court race

State and Local Election Alliance: On November 4th, the critical battleground state of Pennsylvania will vote on whether or not to keep three Democratic state supreme court members. If PA votes “no,” then Gov. Josh Shapiro will have to replace them before a full-on partisan election to replace them in 2027. If we lose control of the state Supreme Court, Trump and his cronies will have the opportunity to unleash a dark money avalanche and install loyalist justices who will happily rubber-stamp lawsuits to throw out votes, nullify election results, or award delegates regardless of vote count. In other words, we could never win the White House again. That’s why Republicans have poured a historic $8 MILLION in dark money into the race. Will you chip in to the State and Local Election Alliance and support their efforts to convince the people of Pennsylvania to vote YES on retaining our Democratic justices?

Trump reveals he had MRI at Walter Reed Hospital during 2nd "routine yearly" checkup in six months
If you're buying the official White House story that the 79-year-old autocrat's visit to Walter Reed last month was somehow "routine" and "yearly" despite coming less than six months after his previous annual exam, might we interest you in an exciting and incredibly expensive new bridge for sale?

Republican senator calls Trump’s military airstrikes exactly what they are — "extrajudicial killings"
Ender of many mythical wars and self-described man of world peace Donald Trump is casually carrying out extrajudicial killings on the high seas, ordering military strikes on suspected drug smugglers in speed boats, raising all kinds of alarm among people who still think domestic and international laws matter. That group includes the increasingly rare Republican, in this case Kentucky's Rand Paul, who did not mince words while leveling criticism at the Trump regime yesterday for "summarily execut(ing)" people, stating: "No one said their name, no one said what evidence, no one said whether they’re armed, and we’ve had no evidence presented." The MAGA cult leader has openly hinted he may expand his murder spree onto Venezuelan land, despite having no legal authority to do so. On Friday, he said his administration would be willing to brief lawmakers on the strikes but simply saw no reason to seek congressional authorization for them. "I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country, OK?" Trump said. "We're going to kill them. They're going to be — like — dead." Like dead! Neat! Sorta like our democratic republic at this point.

Trump's $40 billion bailout does the trick, helps deliver Javier Milei's far-right party a midterm election victory

Congratulations, fellow American taxpayers! We did it! Thanks to Donald's timely, massive bailout to his far-right populist pal down in Buenos Aires, Argentinians will face several more years of the very same draconian austerity measures that sent their economy spiraling in the first place. With more than 99% of ballots counted, Milei's La Libertad Avanza secured 40.8% of the nationwide vote, in an election widely seen as a de facto referendum on the self-styled anarcho-capitalist’s chaotic two years in power. The Peronist opposition, Fuerza Patria, secured 31.7%. "I am the king of a lost world," Milei sang as he took the stage in front of hundreds of supporters at a hotel in Buenos Aires. America's wannabe dictator was quick to take credit for tilting the scales in Milei's favor, calling the victory "a great thing" that was made possible by "a lot of help" from the United States.

Trump publicly talking up third term as he claims he's "saved the lives of millions of people"
Whoa, the messiah complex is strong with this one. It's obvious at this point that Donald's going to do everything in (and beyond) his power to crown himself de facto king until he finally dies, but we still have some semblance of a say in things. Let's definitely not run it back for a third fucking time, people.

GOP senator admits Donald Trump’s deadly strikes would spark outrage if Biden were the one ordering them
Sen. James Lankford openly admitted he’d be "apoplectic" if former President Joe Biden had authorized deadly strikes on alleged drug-trafficking vessels without consulting Congress, as Donald Trump has done 10 times now, killing at least 40 people in the process. Stressing the need for consultation, Lankford said, "We’re in a co-equal branch of government and we’ve got to be able to have that kind of coordination." We must say, it takes a lot of balls to admit you have no balls when it comes to holding a president from your own party accountable! If only Congress had a mechanism to compel the administration to testify before the relevant committees in the House and Senate on its brazenly illegal and murderous military operations...

Eric Swalwell calls on 2028 Democratic nominees to pledge to destroy Trump’s "monument to corruption" ballroom
The California Democrat's heart is in the right place, but we're kinda partial to Rebekah Jones' brilliant idea for repurposing the space.

US military loses two aircraft from USS Nimitz aircraft carrier in the South China Sea within 30 minutes
A fighter jet and a helicopter based off the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz both crashed into the South China Sea within 30 minutes of each other on Sunday, the Navy’s Pacific Fleet said, the third and fourth such accidents to occur since Trump returned to power. Wait, how are costly mishaps like this even possible after Pissed Ol' Pete Hegseth purged the military of all its weak-ass wokeness?! Losing helicopters and fighter jets sure doesn't sound very warrior-like to us. Oh, well. Oopsie Navy!
