Juliana Stratton for Senate

See this little girl?

Baby Juliana

That little girl is Juliana Stratton.

The great-great-granddaughter of William Stephens, who was born into slavery and went on to build a life and a community on the land he was given after being freed.

The daughter of a public school teacher and a Navy veteran who marched from Selma to Montgomery for voting rights.

And now, a woman who is serving as Illinois’ first Black lieutenant governor.

When you look at this photo, you see a little girl who didn’t yet know what her purpose would be, but who came from generations of people who believed in hope, in hard work, and in the promise of justice.

That little girl didn’t know she would spend her life fighting to uplift others, to make her community stronger, to stand up for what’s right — even when it’s hard.

That little girl didn't know she’d one day stand on the front lines of defending democracy from authoritarianism and protecting her neighbors from fascism.

But just like her ancestors before her, she’s determined to make her country a better place.

And now, she’s taking that fight for change to Washington.

Juliana is running for U.S. Senate to take the progress she made for working families in Illinois to Washington. She will fight to protect our rights, strengthen our democracy, and build a better country for all.

But it won’t be easy. Juliana’s running this race the right way — without taking a single dime of corporate PAC money — because she believes in people power. So today, we’re counting on this grassroots team to stand by her side and help her win.

Can you contribute $3 or whatever you can today to fuel Juliana’s campaign and help take her fight for a better future to Washington?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

Together, we will win.
