It’s your Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL). Last week, I had the honor of co-hosting a press conference with Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL) to highlight the hardships faced by TSA workers and other federal employees affected by the government shutdown. These essential workers continue to serve our country with strength and resilience—even without pay.

This shutdown has lasted far too long. It’s not about politics anymore, it’s about real families and livelihoods being put at risk. Together with the Palm Beach County Food Bank and the AFGE union, we are supporting those impacted and calling for an immediate end to this senseless shutdown.

I remain committed to putting people over politics and fighting tirelessly until our government reopens and our workers receive the relief they deserve.
