For most kids, Halloween is a spooky, fun chance to dress up and scare each other. But every day truly is scary when you’re a kid fighting a critical illness. It’s just one reason why wishes are so important. Will you show your support for wish kids by hanging one of the free coloring pages in your window during trick-or-treat?
You’ll help spread the word about waiting wish kids and let your community know that you’re a friend to Make-A-Wish® – and to wish kids like James. James bravely endured surgery, chemotherapy and its side effects to treat his brain tumor. But through it all, James held tight to his trusty pirate hat. When James’ wish to be a pirate came true, his mom watched as her little boy lit up the beach with new hope and joy.
As Halloween creeps up and most families prepare to trick-or-treat, kids like James would love nothing more than to leave the hospital and just be regular kids. Too many can’t. Show wish kids you’re thinking of them this Halloween. Honor their bravery, and help grant more wishes by printing and hanging a coloring page on Halloween. |
Thank you for being a friend to wish kids this spooky season.
Wishfully,
Make-A-Wish |
