That’s what The New York Times is reporting Barack Obama said about Donald Trump shortly after Trump won the presidency.
Since that time, Obama has been proven right. Trump has refused to let the 44th president enjoy his retirement, instead lobbing a series of ugly and baseless accusations at his predecessor.
Some pundits are now attacking Obama for defending his record against Trump and for Obama’s increased involvement in the campaign -- saying that a post-presidency should be quiet and dignified.
