Hey, John, can I be honest with you? I was trying to wind down for the day, but tonight, I can't help but feel worried.

I'm worried because we have a real chance to win in Texas – and I don't want us to miss it. 

We have a real chance to make history and elect Texas' first Black Senator.

We have a real chance to help Democrats flip a battleground seat and usher in a new generation of leadership in Washington.

We have a real chance to give 30 million Texans the leadership we deserve.

But I’m concerned because Republicans know just how competitive Texas has become, and they’re prepared to pour tens of millions of dollars into keeping it.

They've already launched their first attack ads against me – this early – because they're scared. They're worried about their own records. And they're worried about how Donald Trump's extremism has hurt them here in Texas. 

Let me be clear: This race is winnable. Four separate polls show us ahead – and if we keep building on that momentum, we can flip this seat.

But I can’t do it without you. Your support is the driving force behind this grassroots movement – and right now, we need to raise another $32,268 before midnight to stay competitive against the GOP’s massive war chest and keep this momentum going.
