Thank you for your resistance efforts this previous week! We hope you will participate in our newest action, Signs for Solidarity.

Signs for Solidarity

We can and must stand up for immigrants and show that they are essential and welcomed members of our communities.

Sign up now to visit local businesses in your neighborhood.

Ask the business owners or managers to post signs that declare their support for their immigrant neighbors and opposition to ICE as well as create a private area for employees that ICE cannot legally enter without a signed judicial warrant. These are simple steps that businesses can take to protect their employees from ICE and make all immigrants feel welcome in your community.

NATIONAL: MORAL MONDAYS IN GEORGETOWN - OCTOBER 27TH
Join Georgetown Resistance for a weekly protest at Scott County Courthouse (101 E. Main St in Georgetown) from 4:45 p.m until 5:45 p.m. The group asks that you bring non-confrontational, positive signs focused on issues. You can join their private Facebook group for updates.
NATIONAL: PEACEFUL BLUEGRASS RESISTANCE PROTESTS - Lexington
Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance is doing roadside protests multiple days per week and sometimes more than once per day! To get involved, sign up on their website.
NATIONAL: DEMAND THE EXTENSION OF THE ACA PREMIUM TAX CREDITS!
The Senate could not reach an agreement on the continuing resolution to keep the government funded until November. The current resolution allows the Affordable Care Act premium subsidies to expire. Without these subsidies, ACA premiums will skyrocket for 2026. The Democrats are taking a stand and demanding the extension of the tax credits. Call Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul and ask that they vote for an agreement that extends the ACA premium subsidies. The 5 Calls Website has up-to-date information and talking points.
NATIONAL: DEMAND THE RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES!!!
Thomas Massie says he has the votes, but just to be sure, we have to keep pressuring our electeds. If you live in KY-6 congressional district, call Andy Barr and demand the full public release of the Epstein Files - (859) 219-1366. If you live in a different congressional district, please contact your representative. The 5 Calls website has up-to-date information and talking points.
