John,
People who openly deny the legitimacy of elections, who were central to the “Stop the Steal” movement, are now being placed in senior roles overseeing our elections and election infrastructure.
These are not fringe actors – they’re being elevated inside the government. When election deniers take control of the systems, the people who are supposed to safeguard democracy become the ones undermining it. It erodes public trust, threatens access to the ballot, and sets the stage for chaos when results don’t go a certain way.
The people responsible for protecting election infrastructure should be committed to integrity. Trump’s appointees are the opposite. This is exactly the moment when we must stand up.
Democratic Secretaries of State are already working to protect fair elections in states across the country. But they cannot fight this fight alone. They need resources now to keep democracy safe : legal support, public communication, and organizing power.
Will you chip in $3 or whatever you can today to support their work and help defend our elections from those who would hijack them?

Team DASS
Thank you for your dedicated support of The Democratic Association of Secretaries of State -- the only organization dedicated to electing and protecting Democratic Secretaries of States.
Right now, Republicans are changing the rules and changing the players to try and change the outcomes of future elections. Democratic Secretaries of State are the last line of defense to protect our democracy and preserve the will of the voters. Please consider a donation to fight back against the GOP's voter suppression agenda.
