Everywhere I go, folks tell me the same thing – housing costs are crushing them.

Rent’s too high. Buying a home feels impossible. And fixing finicky old plumbing? Might be cheaper to hang a “one square per person” sign. 😓

That ain’t right. (For several reasons.) And when housing eats your paycheck, there’s less left for food, medicine, or saving a buck. It’s hitting young people and folks on fixed incomes the hardest.

So after seeing how Pennsylvania’s Whole-Home Repairs Program helped people fix and keep their homes, I knew we had to take it national.

My bill does just that – it offers grants and forgivable loans so families can make repairs, stay in their homes, and protect our housing supply. 💪

And I’m proud to say the Senate just passed the ROAD to Housing Act, which includes my Whole-Home Repairs Act. That’s a big step forward. 🏠🛠️

Now, it’s on its way to the House – and I’ll keep pushing until it’s law. But this is only one piece of the puzzle, and my work isn’t done yet.
