John,

Voter registration in Texas just declined by 135,000 people—the biggest drop in more than a decade. That’s bad news for democracy.

This is on purpose and by design. Texas Republicans went into overdrive to pass laws to aggressively purge voter rolls. While these purges are supposed to target people who have moved or passed away, eligible voters are too often wrongly removed—making it harder for them to have their voice heard.

That’s why the work we do at Powered by People is more important than ever. Our volunteers are out in communities registering voters, helping them check their registration status, and making sure they know when and how to vote.

Republicans try to make voting harder, but we know democracy only works when everyone has a voice. And unlike billionaires funding the opposition, we rely on grassroots supporters like you to keep this organizing work going.

Can you chip in $3 today to help us fight this voter suppression, get boots on the ground, and make sure every eligible voter in Texas can show up and be heard?
