We have good news and bad news.
The bad news first: Last quarter, one of our top opponents outraised us. But here’s the truth. The majority of those donations didn’t come from real people like you or me. That money came from corporate PACs, wealthy donors, special interests, and deep D.C. connections. The kind of money that comes with strings attached.
That’s not who we are. And it’s not who I’ll ever be.
But the good news is: Our campaign actually outraised both of our top opponents in grassroots donations. That means more small-dollar donors decided to step up and support our campaign. That's more volunteers, more voters going to the polls, and more people who are ready to fight for this movement. That’s something money from corporations can’t buy.
Small-dollar donations show the real momentum of a campaign. So we can’t let up, not now. Every small-dollar donation adds up — and every day we fall behind in our grassroots fundraising, our opponents’ special interest money grows louder.
So I’m asking: Can you chip in whatever you can today to help us close the gap between our opponent and keep our grassroots momentum going strong?

We may not have the most money in this race, but we have the people. And that’s always been the heart of every movement that’s changed this country for the better.
With gratitude,
Juliana Stratton
