With the Fair Fight Action team on board, we will continue pushing back against this coordinated campaign to erase, distort, and suppress Black progress in America.

Hi there,

When I served as deputy executive director of Fair Fight Action, I had the privilege of working alongside this grassroots movement — and I know the impact you can make to defend our equal rights and fundamental freedoms.

So now that I’ve started a new organization, Onyx Impact, to continue advancing our shared goals, I’m asking you to help amplify our latest report.

SPLIT A DONATION BETWEEN ONYX IMPACT AND FAIR FIGHT ACTION

We just released the Blackout Report, which exposes the real-world cost of a concerted effort to erase, distort, and suppress Black progress.

This isn’t a culture war. It’s a power grab  to gain illegitimate control by demolishing the White House and Black progress. And the stakes for Black Americans are generational — with jobs lost, grants slashed, data deleted, and opportunities blocked, all in under nine months:

  • 306,000 Black women have lost jobs from cuts in both federal agencies and the private sector.

  • $3.4 billion+ has been cut or frozen from grants for programs and research serving HBCUs, Black entrepreneurs, and Black communities.

  • Over 6,000 federal datasets have been distorted, including data about maternal mortality, sickle cell disease, and other health care issues that disproportionately affect Black Americans.

Read the Blackout Report here, and share it with your networks to help get out the truth. We have to work fast and work together to protect our future.

Of course, gaining illegitimate control by taking opportunities away from Black Americans is an all-too-familiar story when it comes to voting rights as well.

Time and time again, we see leaders try to hold onto power not by trying to earn Black votes but by trying to suppress them.

It’s Jim Crow 2.0.

But Fair Fight Action pushes back for equal access to the ballot box.

Just this month, they called the nation’s attention to how a potential Supreme Court ruling could gut Black political representation in the South through a new wave of discriminatory gerrymandering.

Now they’re mobilizing pro-voter advocates to demand fair maps with fair representation.

They will also keep holding the line against voter suppression legislation in Georgia and around the country that could place additional obstacles between Black Americans and the ballot box.

And given the rise of disinformation that aims to keep Black communities from voting, Fair Fight Action strives to make sure voters have accurate election information so they can use their power in our democracy.

At Onyx Impact, we’re also dedicated to fighting the spread of harmful information, amplifying Black voices, and empowering Black communities.

And I’d be honored to keep working by your side. Can you split a donation between Onyx Impact and Fair Fight Action to help keep up the fight for freedom and equality?

Thanks for everything you do,

Esosa Osa
