Legal Challenge to COVID-19 Measures in Canada

On Monday, July 6, Vaccine Choice Canada issued a legal challenge to various government entities over their handling of COVID-related restrictions upon citizens. Filed in Ontario Superior Court, defendants in the legal action include the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario, the Municipality of Toronto, various public health officers, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation among others.

As Covid-19 spread across the United States this spring, teachers, parents and students scrambled to move classes to online platforms such as Zoom and FaceTime. It was an enormous effort that seemed, to some, to offer few rewards. Supporting online learning left parents exhausted, even as they worried that their kids were slipping behind academically.

A controversial bill that outlined a state health department screening response during public health emergencies has died at the state Capitol.

“The broad wording in this proposal creates the policy environment for intrusion on civil liberties,” Cowden wrote. “The Bill gives this director police powers to separate families, confinement against individual will for undetermined length, and vaguely defined powers such as ‘take other actions’ and phrases like ‘wherever necessary.'”

The group Hawaii For Informed Consent, which led a social media campaign against it, said it would have provided “sweeping power to an unelected official.”

At present, there is no published cure, treatment, or preventive for COVID-19 except for a recent report on dexamethasone for seriously ill patients. This report is a case series of consecutive patients diagnosed with COVID-19. A novel treatment program combining nutritional and oxidative therapies was shown to successfully treat the signs and symptoms of 100% of 107 patients diagnosed with COVID-19.

We also believe that people should be very careful with EMFs-based products that claim to "shield" and improve health. Even if some products offer benefits, they may also have adverse effects.
