Friend,
When we get too comfortable, it’s easy to forget what we’re up against in November.
For decades, our State Senate, and our district, was governed by austerity—an ideology that said that we can forget about solving poverty, helping our failing education system, and rebuilding our broken infrastructure if we save a few pennies. During a time of global crisis, we cannot return back to these ideals. Under austerity, these things would be viewed as too costly, and therefore not worth pursuing.
We need to invest in our community, in our neighborhoods, and in our people.
We need to make sure our small businesses can stay afloat and that tenants who lost their jobs due to COVID don’t get kicked out of their apartments. We need have someone in Albany fighting for our community, because the future of New York State will be shaped by the next few years.
That's why all eyes are going to be on our race in November. We need your help to reach our goal before this Saturday night, to make sure the campaign is strong enough to go into the general election to fight for a better Brooklyn. Can you donate today to help us reach our goal by the 11th?

We know there's a better way, and that better way begins with us.
In Solidarity,
Andrew
