Wow! Last night our grassroots volunteers made 8,697 calls to voters in Michigan’s 13th district to help re-elect Rashida―our biggest day of phone calls yet!

With early voting underway for Rashida’s August 4th primary, and with a surge of vote by mail requests, we need to contact 36,000 more voters by phone over the next few days. And I know we can do it!

On Saturday, Bernie Sanders’s dedicated volunteers are helping make phone calls for Rashida. Watch this new video from Bernie and then sign up for a phone call shift this Saturday!

“Rashida knows that when all of us stand together at the grassroots level, there is nothing that can stop us.”

Before joining Rashida’s campaign, I co-founded Jews for Bernie to create a political home for members of my community who wanted to support Bernie as proud Jews. Bernie and Rashida symbolize an invitation previously denied to millions of Americans—an invitation to proudly wear our marginalized identities as we participate in our nation’s political process.
