Our campaign has a bit of an issue here, and I'm hoping you can help.

We finished in 1st place in the Democratic primary, and have a fast-approaching runoff election on August 11th.

We received a HUGE number of grassroots donations in June, and it helped jump-start our campaign for the runoff. We've been hard at work to build on that and make July our best fundraising month.

July is also our most important voter contact month because the majority of the outreach we need to do to win this election will happen in the next four weeks. Folks are requesting absentee ballots in the thousands, and early voting will begin in just two weeks. The battle for this runoff election is happening right now.

However, so far our fundraising numbers for July are down compared to previous months. And in the last few days, our average donation has been even lower than usual.

So we have two options here: either we need more individual donations, or we need our first-time grassroots supporters to give just a little more than we normally ask for.
