This week, I dropped by the Foothill Unity Food Distribution Center in Monrovia to help administer food to patrons. They combat food insecurity and support nutrition for families in our SGV community. Thanks for all your hard work to ensure residents are well-nourished.

I stopped by to tour their facility and speak with staff, including Dave Baker, who was the third-ever employee hired at LEV and has been working there for 50 years! The Republican healthcare crisis will impact hundreds of thousands of constituents in my district. Sabrina, a resident of CA-31, was brave enough to share how the Republican’s devastating Medi-Cal cuts will affect her and her family, including her father who has ALS and depends on Medi-Cal to survive.
