John -
The Association of Equipment Manufactures (AEM) called for a comprehensive national strategy for manufacturing “...to strengthen the economy, create new jobs and opportunities, and ensure the U.S. is the best place in the world for equipment manufacturers to innovate, manufacture, and do business.”
We asked I Make America supporters to join us in this effort, and hundreds of hard-working men and women signed our petition.
Thanks to your support, we’re now one step closer to making this a reality. Earlier this week U.S. Senator Gary Peters introduced the National Institute of Manufacturing Act, which spells out a bold approach to revitalize American manufacturing.
We applaud Sen. Peters for joining the fight to strengthen the manufacturing sector and ensuring the future competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing in the global economy - but we cannot let up. We still need your voice to ensure Washington, D.C. hears us loud and clear.
If you have not done so already, will you take a few seconds to add your name to the petition and join the fight to support the 2.8 million men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry? After you sign, please consider forwarding this message to a friend. Remember, our voices are louder together and this week shows that we can make a real impact!
Sincerely,
Wade Balkonis I Make America |
