A little over a month after calling the disgraced former Governor Cuomo a "snake and a liar" for trying to push him out of the race,¹ Eric Adams just endorsed him for Mayor of NYC.

We’re hardly surprised.

For decades, political elites have clung to power by swapping favors, sharing donors, and protecting each other from accountability. And despite all of Adams’ posturing, he and Cuomo are lifelong power brokers too.

Zohran Mamdani is running a different kind of campaign. And we’re building a different kind of movement to support him — one that is powered by working families, for working families, rather than handing out tax breaks to Trump billionaire donors.

The enthusiasm we’re seeing in New York and around the country is about a hunger for a different kind of politics.

It’s why Trump officials have been pressuring Adams and Sliwa to drop out and rally behind Cuomo for months.²

And it’s why — earlier this week — they resorted to creating AI-generated, racist, and Islamaphobic ads.³
