Hey, it's Deb.
It’s been a packed few weeks on the campaign trail as we’ve continued to criss-cross the state! I’ve met so many New Mexicans, heard their powerful stories, and felt our campaign’s momentum growing with every visit.
I want to share a few of my favorite moments from the last weeks with you. 📷
I'm committed to listening and making sure we address each community's unique needs together. I recently went to Corrales for a morning discussion about how I plan to tackle New Mexico's toughest challenges, from public safety and education to healthcare and the economy.
Our healthcare workers take care of us — it's time we take care of them.
New Mexico has a severe shortage of healthcare workers — and UNMH’s resident doctors are overworked and undercompensated. That’s why I proudly joined CIR/SEIU UNM in their fight for fair wages. If we want to recruit and keep doctors caring for our communities, we must first ensure they can afford to live here.
Agua es Vida — a statement that rings through New Mexico for generations.
I went to the Embudo Valley community to celebrate 300 years of acequias, the communities that sustain them, and the centuries of stewardship for our ecosystems. My grandparents taught me to care for our land, air, and water, and I bring those lessons to every position I've served in. From empowering traditional communities and leading conservation initiatives to negotiating water rights, I will always fight to protect our water and New Mexico's beautiful traditions.
I spent an evening "chopping it up" with youth, business owners, and the community at All Eyes on Me Barbershop in Downtown Albuquerque. Education, public safety, and daily struggles worry far too many of our friends and family members. As governor, I'm ready to roll up my sleeves to build a safer, more prosperous New Mexico for every community.
I stood alongside families impacted by fentanyl addiction and built hygiene kits for our neighbors struggling with homelessness in Española. I’m ready to tackle this crisis head-on as governor, investing in addiction services, support for families, and law enforcement that makes our communities safer and gives them the help they need.
Thanks for taking the time to read about what my team and I have been up to recently! With the end of 2025 quickly approaching, we’re headed into our campaign’s most crucial stretch yet.
I’m relying on your support to keep fueling every conversation, every visit, and every step forward towards victory. Will you chip in $5 right now to fund future campaign stops for my team and me?
Be fierce,
Deb
