We’ve seen versions of this in America before: the Sedition Act of 1798 (expired) and the Sedition Act of 1918 (repealed). Each time, the men in power sought to quell opposition and silence those who questioned how government power was being used.

And yet, the people eventually won. Because they wrote anyway. They spoke out anyway. They showed up anyway.

We can’t be quiet about this. We have to call out their moves, push back, and defend our right to dissent before it disappears. Our strength lies in our numbers, and our success comes from our volume.
