John,

The repeated threats on our cities and borders by our tinpot dictator Donald Trump has escalated once again, with Trump’s demand to send troops to California to “observe” our election.

This is a lawless, weak attempt at intimidation, plain and simple. Trump knows that we object to his attempt to rig the 2026 election through mid-century redistricting, and that Californians are ready to fight back. So he’s hoping to scare and silence the process and use anything he can to ignore the result.

I have already returned my ballot saying Yes to Prop 50, and encourage you all to do the same when you’re ready.

Trump isn’t hiding what he’s trying to do, which makes it so important that California stand up to Trump’s fascist wants.

That means that Prop 50 MUST pass.

And once we restore order by passing Prop 50, I look forward to working with national leaders who will continue fighting for working families, restoring and protecting our freedoms, and making our state and country add up for everyone.

We will not be intimidated. Onward.

Betty
