A week from today, we’ll close the books on our October fundraising deadline. I’m going to tell you why this moment matters, but first, can I ask you to chip in $10 or whatever you can to power this campaign?

Humility and hard work have guided me throughout my life and career here in Edinburg. La humildad ante todo. “Humility before everything" was a phrase I grew up hearing. I think about that a lot lately. Because this campaign is about more than politics. It’s about the families who build this place from the ground up, the people who work the fields, teach the kids, and run our district’s small businesses.

When I launched this campaign, a lot of people told me I was crazy to run in a district Republicans redrew for themselves. But they can’t redraw our values.

Now, polls show we have a real shot at flipping this district. But I’m not one to get ahead of myself. We need to keep building momentum so that when the time comes, we have the resources we need to WIN.

Hitting our monthly deadlines is key to keeping us on track to reach out to more voters, run ads, and get our message across this district. We can’t fall short. Can I count on you to chip in $10 today?
