Ninety seconds to scoop up a sleeping child.

Worse still, families living along the Gaza, Syrian, and Lebanese borders have even less time to reach safety, just 15 seconds. 

 

And for 2.6 million Israelis, nearly 30% of the population, there isn’t even a functional bomb shelter nearby. 

 

This is why the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) has placed over 250 bomb shelters in vulnerable communities and provided trauma counseling for hundreds of anxious children. We have also assisted community leaders and first responders as they seek to protect and serve their people.

 

All of this assistance has brought such hope and encouragement to a battered nation. But there is so much more we need to do.
