Her office is notoriously unresponsive on constituent services especially with elderly and veteran constituents who reach out for help with their benefits. They ignore grant applications for in-district nonprofits, and ghost constituents who reach out for requests from service academy recommendations to capitol tours. However, there is one constituency who she would move heaven and earth for — January 6th insurrectionists. In the days leading up to the January 6th insurrection, Boebert led groups of MAGA militia on “tours” of the Capitol, pointing out entrances and security weak points. She never faced accountability for this and later voted against honoring the brave Capitol Police officers who fought off the rioters. She even mocked a group of Jewish visitors in the Capitol, asking them if they were “doing reconnaissance” — a callback to how the media framed what she did in the leadup to Jan. 6. Once authorities began making arrests of insurrectionists, Boebert fought for their release from prison. And when she got her wish and Trump freed them, she invited the freed insurrectionists to stop by her office for a tour. She’ll do anything for the most violent members of her ultra-MAGA base but refuses to even lift a finger for her constituents. She hates her constituents and they hate her. Boebert is in Congress because of just 546 votes. In 2024 when Boebert and Trisha Calvarese, a labor leader and her Democratic opponent, went head to head, Trisha had the best ever performance that a Democrat has ever had in this district while Boebert underperformed Trump in every county.  Boebert can be beaten and the 2026 midterms are when we do it.
