Hi John,
You’re changing the conversation on Prime Minister Mark Carney’s gun ban and confiscation scheme.
Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree admitted the gun confiscation plan was being pushed because it was popular in Quebec.
Turns out that’s not true.
Because taxfighters like you stepped up and donated, we were able to commission a Leger poll to learn what Quebecers really think about Ottawa’s plan to take firearms from licensed owners.
And the message is crystal clear.
About 51 per cent of Quebecers want the government to focus on stopping illegal guns coming from the United States instead of confiscating guns from licensed owners.
(Just 37% lean toward confiscating legal guns and the rest aren’t sure.)
That’s a big win. You helped prove that Quebecers see the real issue for what it is — criminals and smugglers, not responsible gun owners.
We shared the results of the poll far and wide so politicians know Quebecers think Ottawa’s gun ban is a bad idea.
"Quebecers want feds to tackle illegal guns, not confiscate legally-owned firearms", read the headline in the Toronto Sun.
Police officers have been saying the same thing for years.
“There is no evidence that gun bans reduce this violence, especially when 85 per cent of seized guns come from the United States,” said the Toronto Police Association.
Now you can make that message even louder.
When you sign the petition to scrap the gun confiscation, you’ll be the first to know when it is time to take action.
Will you sign the PETITION to call on the federal government to scrap the gun ban and buyback?
We, the undersigned, call on the prime minister to scrap the gun ban and buyback.

I am not a gun owner, but I grew up in rural Quebec where nearly everyone else was and our community was peaceful and safe. Hunters and sport shooters are not a threat to public safety; we have always known that.
Thanks for standing up for taxpayers.
All the best, and only the best,
