WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal proudly announces it is accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Law Clerk Program. We are seeking highly motivated second- and third-year law students who are mission-aligned and excited to advance America First principles.
Clerks at America First Legal will work collaboratively with our attorneys, communications team, and other staff, and will engage directly in high-stakes legal matters, playing an active role in defending the rule of law and protecting the rights of everyday Americans. Through hands-on experience with our litigation and government accountability work, clerks will gain an invaluable inside look at the conservative legal movement in action and learn the tools that shape federal and state policy.
In addition to meaningful legal responsibilities, clerks will participate in professional programming designed to sharpen their legal skills and deepen their understanding of what it means to truly be an America First attorney. This includes regular workshops and opportunities to engage with prominent attorneys and other leadership within the America First movement.
This substantive, high-impact clerkship requires a commitment of approximately 10-20 hours per week. Positions are offered in person at our Washington, D.C., office, but we also accommodate remote candidates. Specific hours and arrangements will be determined on an individual basis.
