During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I was honored to join the Willow Domestic Violence Center to break ground on their new Family Justice Center—a space that will help survivors find safety, support, and hope.
Domestic violence is a public crisis that demands a public response. Here in Monroe County, we’re choosing action by standing with survivors, holding abusers accountable, and building a coordinated community response to end abuse.
Willow has led this mission for nearly 50 years, and this new center will strengthen that vital work. I’ll keep fighting in Washington to ensure survivors have the resources, protection, and dignity they deserve, because everyone deserves to live in safety and peace.
Please know my office is always here to help. Despite the government shutdown, my office remains open and working for our community. Visit morelle.house.gov to learn more about how we can assist you and your family. Due to ongoing actions by the Trump administration affecting federal agencies, case processing may be slightly delayed. We appreciate your patience and remain committed to resolving your cases promptly.
Until next week,
