Did you see the survey I sent out last week, John?

Our government is still shut down, thanks entirely to Trump and the GOP. They’d rather let our government grind to a screeching halt than let everyday working people afford basic healthcare costs.

It’s disgusting. And House Republicans are nowhere to be seen as we try to fix this mess.

But, John, I’m still here, fighting for everyone. And to keep doing that, I need to hear what’s most important to you right now.

Trump and the GOP let the government shut down so they can raise healthcare costs for working people—and lied about why.

Now, they’re threatening to lay off federal workers. They made it clear they don’t care what happens to us.

But I do. I know how hard it is when your paycheck is late or you lose healthcare. I’ve had to drive for Uber to make ends meet and been denied apartments in D.C. due to my credit.

While people like us struggle, Republicans are nowhere to be seen. But I’m still here, John, and even while the government is shut down I still want to represent everyday people by hearing directly from you.

So I’m sending out a survey to hear what you think about the shutdown.
