On November 4th, the next steps in our Liberal team’s plan to build Canada strong will be outlined in Budget 2025. And in order to build a stronger economy, we need to swing for the fences again – to take control of our future.

Budget 2025 will cut waste, protect the essential programs that give Canadians a fair chance to get ahead, and make generational investments, with a plan to:

Protect our communities, our borders, and our way of life;
Build a stronger economy with major projects, homes, and technologies – where everyone has a chance to get ahead; and,
Empower Canadians with new opportunities, better careers, and a lower cost of living.

Bringing costs down

With Budget 2025, we’re staying focused on lowering costs and protecting programs that empower Canadians. That’s why we already announced key measures like:

✅ Launching automatic federal benefits, so Canadians get the federal benefits they’re entitled to

✅ Making the National School Food Program permanent, so kids can focus on learning in school

✅ Renewing the Canada Strong Pass for the holiday season and summer 2026, so families can discover more of what Canada has to offer for cheaper
